A young blond sits down
With eleven like herself
Laughter like silver bells
Rings out, a precious sound
The girls are all smiling
Giggling as a breeze
Makes their hair lift to tickle
Their soft and plump young cheeks
The blond is holding up a loop
A perfect daisy chain
Each bloom a golden jewel
Surrounded by many a bright white ray
Green stems are intertwined
All wrapped around to hold
Together forms a green-white crown
Worth more than chests of gold
And here comes the king Himself!
Arriving with white light
Eleven shriek in happiness
And drop their chains in delight
The boys are already there
Frolicking like His sheep
One of them shows off
His lack of two front teeth
Jesus smiles brightly
And opens His arms up wide
The little girls and boys
All hurry to His side
He holds them to Him tight
Keeps them in His embrace
And then looks down to see
Just one of twenty, late
"What's wrong my child?"
He asks in a steady, gentle voice
The girls and boys giggle now
And return to her by choice
Jesus watches them before Him stand
Together, now a group
As that one blond hides behind her
A "Happy Birthday" loop
And with a knowing chuckle
He slowly kneels right down
As she places upon His head
A perfect, Kingly crown
He lifts His beautiful crystal eyes
Her own now do His meet
As a tiny tear slides down
Her perfect, rosy cheek
"My child," he says gently
"Hush now don't you cry
For you are here in Heaven
The King Himself is at your side
I will save you from all things
You are my tiny sheep
When you came here you got your wings
There is no need to weep
Your families will come soon
When I call them one by one
Until then your six courageous teachers
Will lead you in your fun."
All the children smile
Their teardrops wiped away
And Jesus watches as they all
Leap and shriek and play.

The Perks of Being Bisexual
"Faggot!" "Homo!" "Queer!" "Dyke!" "Pervert!" "Sicko!" "Sinner!" Those words, those awful words I hear on a daily basis, assault my ears for so long, I immediately clamp my ears with my hands and shut my eyes with hot tears burning through them. I want it to stop. I wanted them to just shut up! I did not choose this quote unquote "lifestyle". I did not choose to be made fun of or be put down by society's expectations. What I DID choose, however, was to fight my way through the torment, through the pain, and through the hate that people spew because I know in the end, it wi

Suicide
You called me up,
crying,
down the phone,
you said you'd taken some pills,
and didn't want, to die alone.
Is your life,
that messed up,
you had to take steps,
to make it stop?
I cried to you,
to call 999,
you said you couldn't listen,
to voices other than mine.
your voice sounded weak,
fighting for breath,
the silence was noticeable
as if i was deaf.
The streets of heaven,
are already full tonight,
full of souls,
souls of angels,
souls like yours,
souls of people,
whose life ended too soon.
Your death,
has brought nothing but pain,
upon this world.

Panic Attack
It's not like crying,
Where the pain inside is released with the tears you shed
And when you're finished you can curl up with the quiet and sleep.
It's not like sadness,
When the feeling is definite,
And you know it's not all in your head.
With this,
It claws at your chest,
Constricting your heart and your muscles lock up.
I wonder if I'll disappear.
It doesn't go away,
But lurks deep inside,
And you wonder if you're simply crazy.
Your thoughts swim as you're gasping for breath,
And even though you know it's coming,
You're still afraid.
And when it's all over,
You're still at the breaking point of emotion.
I wond

I don't know why I wrote this... My fingers just started moving on the keyboard. I don't like poetry; frankly, I didn't think I could write it. But God had something He wanted to say, and He used me to say it.

Hi, I'm inviting you to join this project that I've started called the Sandy Hook Card Project. I'm gathering people to make cards of well wishes that will be sent to the school. If you're interested, you can check out my journal here: [link]. It has more details.
You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but could you help me spread the word about the project? It would be a great help, thanks!
